West Linn-Wilsonville Education Foundation

Our Purpose

The West Linn-Wilsonville Education Foundation raises funds to hire new teachers, maintain effective class sizes and foster excellence in one of the best school districts in Oregon -- the West Linn - Wilsonville  School District. West Linn High School and Wilsonville High School have the best graduation rates in the entire state! They also rank #2 and #4 of Best High Schools in Oregon overall by US News and World Report. We are very proud of our teachers, staff, and students.

Our Story

The Education Foundation began in the 1992-93 school year when Oregon school districts lost the ability to set their own budgets and became limited by the amount allocated by the state. Our mission is to bridge the gap between state funding and what is needed to advance the school district's mission: creating learning communities for the greatest thinkers and most thoughtful people... for the world.

If you've ever wanted to thank a teacher or staff member for all of their hard work and dedication to the students in our district, donate to our Honor Our Teachers campaign.  Your donation will go directly to hiring new teachers. The teacher or staff member you choose will receive a special certificate and a note recognizing you made a donation in their honor.

To support our teachers, donate to our largest fundraising campaign, Count Me In! Your donation will be counted among the funds raised throughout the year and presented to the School Board at their August meeting. In turn, the funds will be given to the district to hire new teachers for the next school year.
